2025
YEAR-END REPORT

For The Sake Of Others

We continue to be amazed at what God is doing through Ethos! At the risk of repeating ourselves too frequently, the truth is, one of the best parts about Ethos is you. No matter how you found yourself reading our “2025 Year End Report," we love you and are honored to be in this together with every one of you! We don’t care what part we play; we are just thankful to play a part. As you read this report, our prayer is that you would sense the whisper of the Spirit saying to you, "Well done." We truly believe God is smiling on the collective work of Ethos and pray that you know how valuable you are. May we always be a church that is built on the sacrifice of many rather than the gifts of a few.

We thank God for all that He is doing in our community, and we believe that the best is yet to come! So, here’s to 2026! A year that we sense God is calling us to lean deeper into holistic discipleship as we live out our vision to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Let us be in awe of God. Let us live sent, open-handed, united, and full of faith all for the sake of others. Let us reach, serve, & love more people than we ever dreamed possible, in Jesus’ name.

Love & Peace,

Jordan & Courtney

MOST PEOPLE HAVE YET TO EXPERIENCE THE REAL JESUS.

We are on a mission to change that.

COMMUNITY

Living life as a family is our priority

One of the best aspects about Ethos is the people! The Ethos Family is the heart and soul of our church and everything we do, whether creating spaces of belonging, serving with relentless generosity, or investing into each generation and transforming lives by loving all people in Jesus’ name.

Ethos 301 | Becoming Family

Ethos 101-301 is everyone's best step to learn more about the vision, mission, and culture of Ethos. And it is our pathway to being part of the Ethos family by joining a Servant Leader Team and using your gifts regularly through Ethos to serve and make a difference in Jesus' name.

In 2025, we have seen 128 people say yes to committing to the Ethos family and playing a part in our community.

Candy's Prayer Gathering Story

-3889730354006825020.jpg

When I began taking my faith seriously, I realized something simple yet profound: relationships thrive on communication. If I’m in a relationship with God, then communication with Him is prayer. That understanding sparked a desire in me to become truly devoted to prayer.

When the Prayer Gatherings started, it felt like someone else had planned a beautiful date night—I just had to show up. These gatherings carve out sacred space that daily life often crowds out: space to be still before God, to worship Him with the music that sets the atmosphere, to pour out your heart to the One who already knows it, and to share the moment with fellow believers on the same journey. Or sometimes, simply to sit quietly and soak in His presence.

Every time I leave, I feel encouraged, refreshed, and at peace. It's been an added bonus to get to share these spaces with my small group. Not only are we continuing to grow in our friendships with one another, but we are growing in our relationship with God together, too.

The Way Intensive

We’ve sensed a hunger at Ethos to go deeper in discipleship. To grow in our spiritual formation for the sake of others. So, we’ve created The Way Intensive – a ten week journey rooted in community designed to dive into our core beliefs and deepen our theology, grow in our spiritual practices, and cultivate the friendships that are vital to following Jesus and seeking his Kingdom in Columbus. And this fall, we saw 51 people take the step to understanding the foundation of intentional spiritual formation.

Our ten weeks in The Way Intensive was a gift. Week after week, gathering around the table; we shared fellowship, honest dialogue, and a desire to grow. We were stretched to think deeper and wider, beyond established beliefs. Seeking with curiosity and guided by the Holy Spirit, it allowed for real transformation and connections to be fostered. We are grateful for the growth we experienced together and the commitment Ethos is making to invest in those that call Ethos home. As we step into community groups, we carry shared foundations rooted in Jesus Christ—preparing our hearts for the year ahead.

Ross & Christie's Mentorship Story

Screensho (11).jpg

We had been talking for some time about how we both sensed the Lord inviting us to serve in new ways at Ethos. In the midst of those conversations, we heard about Young Adult Discipleship. The timing felt like a clear call from the Lord. Walking alongside the young adults in our groups has been such a blessing—one we did not fully anticipate. Through this ministry, we have built meaningful, Christ-centered relationships and have experienced spiritual growth ourselves.

We were also given the opportunity to attend the Young Adults retreat. Although our purpose was to offer spiritual support and guidance, we found ourselves being ministered to in powerful and unexpected ways. During that weekend, we experienced the Holy Spirit more deeply than we ever anticipated, reminding us of God’s presence and faithfulness. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity, for the relationships that have formed, and for the countless ways God has met us in places we never expected. Serving in this ministry has truly been a gift.

Ethos Kids

Our greatest investment as a church may not be something we do,

but the CHILDREN we raise together.

The Limes' Ethos Kids Story

LimesFam2025.jpg

When we first started coming to Ethos, it was important for our elementary age sons to also find their own community.  The timing was perfect to sign them up for Ethos Kids Camp in the summer right away, and it was such an incredible experience!  I was blown away by the care, energy and effort that was put into every aspect – it all looked so fun and intentional.  And most importantly for our family, we each felt known from our very first day.  We were immediately remembered, wanted, and prayed for not just in person, but in between Sundays too.

I have never before been part of any group where we received love so freely and truly.  There is something really special about the love that we've received here before we could have had anything to offer.  God has used each of them more than once to speak something important to us that we needed in a moment that they couldn’t have known.  Jesus has encouraged our faith over and over through Ethos already after only 6 months, and I can’t wait to step into the next chapter as part of this family.

Ethos YTH

We are all about embracing the fun and energy of middle and high school students partnered with creating space practical conversations about following Jesus.

This year, we took some students on our first ever overnight camp. Here are a few of their stories.

Mack's
YTH Story

I haven’t been part of Ethos Youth for long; however, it has already played such an extraordinary role in my life. Ethos has taught me love, community, life-long friendship, and so much more. Every Wednesday, I’m greeted by people whose love for the Lord is vibrant and contagious.

When I first started attending, no one hesitated to make me feel welcome, and everyone jumped right in to learn about me and my interests. I’m constantly surrounded by people who bring out the best in me and have taught me countless things. The leaders are so intentional and truly want the best for my peers and me. I’m especially thankful for Paige, who has made me feel so comfortable at Ethos and continues to show her love for me every day. The students are my best friends, and it’s been such an amazing journey growing up with some of them. I have made so many connections with people who genuinely care about me and have taught me so much about myself and others. Every week, I grow in my relationships and learn from the wisdom surrounding me. I have been so blessed to find such a strong community and be able to call Ethos my home!

Young Adult Retreat Story

IMG_3870.jpg

One of the highlights of this past year was attending YA Retreat. Stepping away from the constant stress of work, disconnecting from technology, and resting with the Lord created the space my heart had been needing. I also felt so connected with everyone else that attended and even left with new friends.

Some of the most meaningful time was my time of solitude. I felt the Holy Spirit’s presence in a real and refreshing way. The pace of the retreat was slow, unhurried, and peaceful, reminding me of what it means to truly rest in God. I left feeling grateful, renewed, and encouraged, carrying with me a deeper sense of purpose and connection with the Lord.

Ethos + Co

In the fall of 2023, Ethos + Co. was launched as a nonprofit cafe and coffeehouse to foster relationships, do good, and facilitate healthy conversations about life and following Jesus. Ethos + Co. is our ministry of hospitality as we focus on being a good neighbor to our community and city. All proceeds will go to amazing organizations that are making a difference throughout our city in Jesus’ name.

We have seen God create amazing connections with vendors, nonprofit organizations and people n our community – being able to pray for and with guests, support local businesses, and give generously to nonprofits. â€‹

Ethos Childcare Center

In March of 2025, Ethos took on an existing Childcare Center as we expand our ministry of hospitality to our community. Within our community, families are actively searching for trusted spaces for their children to be supported and cared for. The Center's focus and passion is to be a faith-based childcare center that inspires curiosity and growth while nurturing each child’s social, emotional, and spiritual development.

Global Mission Trips
(El Salvador)

We took a team of 18 servant leaders to El Salvador where we had the opportunity to connect with church staff in the city of San Miguel. We were able to do a number of projects to help serve the church and surrounding communities. The one week we are there helps pastors Ivo and Giovanni and their teams connect with and serve people the other 51 weeks we aren’t there.

San Miguel, El Salvador

It is a privilege to partner with Pastor Giovanni as he has launched the church in San Miguel, El Salvador. His family alongside a team of servant leaders are weekly reaching their community for Jesus. In 2025, Pastor Giovanni and the church were able to secure a lease for their first Sunday gathering space.

Africa For Christ

Africa for Christ's mission is to identify, empower and equip gifted men and women to plant healthy churches throughout Africa, in partnership with the wider body of Christ,  focussing on under resourced communities. Thanks to your generosity, we are honored to support two Pastors as they share Jesus and meet practical needs within their city. We celebrate big what God is doing in Africa.
