No one is exempt from going through life’s difficulties, whether it’s a personal issue, a marriage challenge or a family struggle. For many of these challenges, we can go to a trusted friend, family member or a small group for prayer and advice. However, there are times when challenges become more complicated and we need additional guidance to help us get to a healthier place in life. Here are our counseling resources:

Lewis Counseling
Lewis Counseling has special training in trauma, marital counseling, spiritual formation, healing prayer and spiritual direction providing a well-rounded understanding both clinically and spiritual of what it takes to position people for spiritual, emotional, mental and transformational growth through the power of the Spirit of God. Their desire is to provide quality, faith-based counseling to people in the Columbus and Delaware areas and support to area all people and churches in need.
Kovacs Counseling
Kovacs Counseling is a private practice that offers services to individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), couples and families seeking psychotherapy. We recognize that it takes a lot of courage to initiate a relationship with a therapist, so we make it a priority to provide a safe and client-centered environment in combination with evidence-based practice.
Pastoral Counseling
We provide pastoral counseling as a confidential sounding board as we walk alongside you through challenging situations, marital and parenting coaching, discovering direction and purpose, and discussing questions about God and theology. For pastoral counseling, please schedule a 60-75 minute timeframe that works best for you.

Premarital Counseling & Wedding Officiant

We are so grateful you are choosing to invest in a Christ-centered, life-giving marriage. Premarital Counseling consists of an online assessment for the future husband and wife and four to eight sessions with a mentor couple. There is a $300 fee which covers all the Premarital Counseling expenses including, SYMBIS premarital assessment, trained facilitator(s), administrative fees, and pre-marital sessions. Each session generally runs 60-90 minutes and is scheduled between you and the mentor(s). The sessions address issues such as a Christ-centered marriage, expectations, finances, personality and communication styles, and handling conflict.
Premarital Counseling is for couples who are engaged and pursuing marriage, as well as couples who are dating and thinking about marriage. We would like to note that all monies paid to Ethos Church for the Premarital Counseling are non-refundable. In addition, to honor the time and relational investment, we suggest an honorarium for the Pastor officiating the wedding as gift given directly to him/her.
In order for us to accommodate every couple that desires to receive Premarital Counseling through Ethos, we recommend your wedding date to be at least 6 months out from the date you submit your request with us.
