Diversity + Equality
“Though it’s essential for children to see people who look like them doing amazing things; it’s also essential for children to see people who don’t look like them doing those same amazing things. This will help them grow up not only knowing things should be equal but becoming initiators of racial equality.”

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:8

Resources for the Journey

Below are some resources to learn more about racial reconciliation and healing. This list is only a start, as we know there are specific histories and experiences not represented. We still have much to learn. For those of us in particular who are new to the lifelong journey, we want to collectively humble ourselves before the Lord, listen, and learn. It’s also important to act justly, build relationships, and keep the conversation going. Let’s do our part.
