Open In Prayer
Begin by praying together – taking some intentional time to invite the Holy Spirit into your gathering.
Below is an optional liturgy you could pray:
Jesus Christ, You have called us Your brothers and sisters, giving us a home and a place of belonging. Lead us in continuing to foster family, and to make room for one another at the table of Your love; in our homes, in our schedules, and in our hearts. Amen.
Table Conversations
This is space during your gathering to share a meal, build relationships, and enjoy one another.
A Year In Review Reflection
Take some space individually to reflect on the following questions and spend some time sharing as a group:
How do you feel you have matured spiritually as a result of our last year of intentionally journeying together?
What is one thing you have learned about yourself in the past year?
What is one thing you have learned/experienced to be true about God in the past year?
What is one thing you have learned/experienced to be true about biblical family in the past year?
What’s something you’re taking into 2026 as a result of us spending 2025 together?
Encourage One Another
Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs us to “think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
Take some unhurried time to encourage one another, pointing out how you’ve experienced Christ through the friendships built within this Ethos Community.
Review Plans for 2026
If you plan to continue journeying together in 2026, you may want to consider taking some time to talk through logistics for January. For example, will your gathering location, time, etc remain the same?
If you do not plan to continue on in 2026, you may want to take some time to talk through how you plan to engage in Community in the next year. [Leaders, please let me know if I can help anyone in your Community find a new Ethos Community, an ongoing small group, etc.]
End In Prayer
End your time praying over one another, thanking God for all He has done, blessing each other, and asking God to meet you all in specific ways as we conclude 2025 and head towards this new year.
